I have a successful formula for my Business Law classes. The assignment is called You're on the Jury. I post several different fact scenarios with 3-4 questions per scenario. Each group of students, 4-5, is assigned a scenario. They must post their answers in their forum but, and here is what makes this interactive is there is no correct answer. They can argue their point of view as long as they support by material from the book. For full points, they must post a response to another student but they can move to any scenario they want for that. I have students posting in all 13 scenarios sometimes!. They have a week to work on this with all due Monday by noon. I think this incorporates all the successful strategies suggested but always hoping to learn more. Mary Sessom
